the tea and coffee facilities in the room were acceptable.
i was disappointed to find marks and scuffs all over the walls. the carpet really needed a deep clean. i also noticed cobwebs in the corner and mould in the bathroom..

the location was convenient to the train station (just a short walk!). the room was a superior double room, and it was quite spacious. i especially liked that the staff stored my luggage after i checked out, allowing me to explore freely.
The walls could use a fresh coat of paint. I noticed a few scuffs.

the staff checked me in quickly and were friendly. the room had tea and coffee making facilities for me. i appreciated the bottle of water in the fridge too. the bathroom included both a bath and an overhead shower.
i found a very slight smell of oil from the kitchen extractor near my room. this was really minor though.

the hotel is conveniently located near the train station. the room was a good size i found. they offered to store my luggage after i checked out. this allowed me to enjoy the day without carrying bags. the staff was very accommodating.
